These are Bryde's whales, one of the baleen whale group/species although they are not krill/plankton eaters, but feed on shrimp, squid, baitfish, etc. When you are amongst them, you are definately in marlin and tuna country. We have already had numerous encounters this season such as these. It never, ever gets old.
